Today more than ever,
every company that receives, stores, and ships large numbers of parts must
improve the efficiency of its inventory management procedures. The ES/2000 ERP
Inventory Control module tracks parts purchased and received from suppliers, as
well as orders processed and shipped to service centers. The Inventory Control
module contains identifying information about each standard part, including
part number, revision, description, location, lead-time, negative inventory
levels, and more. The Inventory Control sections logically group part
information for easy access, including information about costing, work in
process, lot tracking and material control.
